J-O-Y

Over the last few days I've found myself in less than desirable situations at work. Without going into detail lets just say I have been quite frustrated and unhappy with a few things in my work environment. On Monday I allowed it to get to me and began publically displaying my frustration and anger. At the suggestion of my wife I came home from work and immediately spent time in the Word and in prayer. God led me to Phillippians which as you may know is the book of Joy. The Lord reminded me that my joy comes from Him regardless of what is going on in my life or at work. He reminded me that my attitude is to be like Christ's at all times regardless of what is going on. No excuses. It's just how we are supposed to be and respond.

I pray that God would continue to help me grow in this area. I pray that He would be with us all as we strive to be more like Him.
