Today I decided to watch "Fireproof My Marriage" again. It's just as good the second time around as the first. It conveys a very important message to viewers. In short, the message is that every relationship has its ups and downs but what keeps the relationship alive is the desire to remain in the relationship. Simply put if both parties desire to make it work and truly put forth a selfless effort to do so the rest will take care of itself.
I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful wife. We were married at a very early age and we've grown closer together each year over these 13 years. She's simply amazing. It's so easy to take her for granted so I work hard to be intentional in ensuring she knows she's as special to me today as the day we met.
I pray our marriage would be an encouragement to those around us. May God continue to bless us as we walk closer together and more closely with Him.
